Philip Docker Court

Philip Docker Court is set in a quiet village with a close-knit community, just a few miles away from Bedworth, Coventry and Nuneaton.

The village, Bulkington, has a Co-op and some smaller food shops, as well as a chemist, cobblers, craft shop and café. It also has several doctors surgeries and churches, along with a chiropodist, dentist, Post Office, optician and village hall. There are also a couple of pubs in the village centre that serve food. A small park area can be found just two minutes walk from the court.

Bedworth town centre, Nuneaton town centre and Coventry city centre are all just a short car or bus trip away, and each offers a range of shops and amenities, including leisure centres. The nearest cinema and bowling centre can be found on the outskirts of Nuneaton.

Philip Docker Court is surrounded by landscaped gardens, which include a private garden area close to the building. The gardens are looked after by a local grounds maintenance company, but residents are also welcome to get involved in the gardening and can have their own areas to tend. The gardens do attract visits from a range of wildlife.

The court has a residents’ lounge, kitchen, conservatory, laundry and a ground floor shower room. There is a court manager on site Monday to Friday to support resident’s independent living and provide help and assistance.
