Housing 21 has been shortlisted in 24housing Awards’ Care and Support Provider of the Year category!
The 24housing Awards were founded in 2013 to celebrate the very best that the housing sector has to offer.
The not for profit organisation has been selected as one of 10 finalists which provides first rate care and support for residents. Across 15 categories, a distinguished panel of judges will decide on the entries which demonstrate value for money, best practice, successful outcomes and originality.
For Housing 21, its achievements in care over the last 12 months will be considered, including its three Care Quality Commission (CQC) Outstanding services.
Kris Peach, Director of Extra Care at Housing 21 said: “We are delighted to be recognised as one of the best care providers in England by 24housing.
“Over the last year we have been working extremely hard to ensure our quality of care is constantly improving and this includes changes to our employment offer for Care Workers, who now receive at least 10% above the National Living Wage and guaranteed hour contracts for all of their normal working hours.
“We recognise that high quality care comes from the right staff who understand the changing needs of older people and our person-centred approach.
“We have done so much over the last 12 months and look forward to hearing the results at the award ceremony later this year!”
The 24housing Awards will take place on Thursday 10 October.
