Housing 21's annual conference took place in Birmingham in October. The theme this year was healthy housing for older people, with chairs and speakers from across the housing sector who brought the subject to life.
The speakers offered experience and knowledge, challenging the sectors to provide new or improved services to maximise healthy housing for older people.
Since its inception seven years ago, the conference has always sought to bring together academics and practitioners from the housing sector and other external stakeholders to provide a space for discussion and challenge.
Combining academic research and insights with examples of practical application, whilst looking ahead with a future focus to become a catalyst for change. The conference aims to harness the combined potential of those in the room to shine a spotlight on issues which may otherwise be disregarded or seen as too complex to challenge.
