Liz Zacharias is a Director at Campbell Tickell and leads on supported housing, care, homelessness and rough sleeping work. With more than 30 years’ experience in supported housing and care, she has held senior operational management positions, worked as a supported housing and care commissioner, and served as Chief Executive of a supported housing charity, where she was responsible for organisational strategy and development.
Her expertise in older people’s housing spans a wide range of work including housing needs assessments, older persons’ housing strategies and service evaluations for local authorities, housing associations and care providers, helping organisations understand current and future demand and develop effective housing solutions for ageing populations.
Her work has included reviewing housing models and best practice approaches from across the UK, Europe, North America, Canada and Australia to inform the design and development of specialist housing and care provision for older people
Liz has overseen major projects supporting the planning and delivery of housing for older and vulnerable adults. Key achievements include developing older persons’ housing strategies, leading customer insight research to inform new service models for older and vulnerable people, and supporting providers and local authorities to assess demand, evaluate development opportunities and shape long-term investment plans.
