Liz has wide ranging experience in supported housing and care including as a local authority commissioner of supported housing, sheltered and extra care housing.
At Campbell Tickell Liz leads consultancy projects across a number of areas including housing needs assessments for older people, those with learning disabilities and/or autism and severe mental health issues. Liz works with Integrated Care Systems, and local authorities on specialist housing development issues, including sheltered and extra care housing reviews and independent living.
Liz also works with local authorities on homelessness and rough sleeping issues, including strategy development, service evaluations and pathway development.
Liz has a long standing interest in older persons housing and the many challenges facing service providers and local authorities. These include the interaction between housing and care systems, issues facing the growing number of older private renters, the development of technology enabled support and care and the key role of wellbeing activities in sustaining older people’s independence.
Most recently Liz worked with a range of organisations including Housing 21 to develop the 15 asks to address the needs of an ageing society briefing.
