After starting her career working in academia researching the impact of local charities on healthy ageing, Millie then began to specialise on the importance of good-quality housing with an ageing lens. Wanting to apply research to practice, Millie spent several years working in strategic roles within local authorities across London.
These roles included working within homelessness and then housing for older people. Following this, Millie then joined Ageing Better. Where she is currently the Deputy Director for Homes, leading on their research and policy development into Age-Friendly Homes.
