Housing 21 has made some changes to the structure within the Executive Team and the roles reporting into them. These aim to maintain focus on achieving the core purpose of providing quality housing with care and support for older people of modest means that enables them to live with dignity and autonomy.

Andrew Shaw has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer following a successful interim period in this role since January 2023.

The Executive Directors of Extra Care and Retirement Living, Kris Peach and Pam Mastrantonio, have been designated as Managing Directors of these core services to ensure that resident perspectives and operational priorities are at the heart of business decision making as we aim to continue to deliver high quality and responsive services.

Amina Graham, previously Executive Director of People and Systems, having made a significant contribution to Housing 21 over the last two and a half years, has decided that the time is right to pursue new opportunities. Amina’s role is not being replaced.

In order to strengthen the service and support provided to Retirement Living and Extra Care we have established a number of new Director roles for corporate functions. These corporate Directors of: People and Culture; Development and Delivery; Acquisitions, Sales and Partnerships; Asset Management; and Technology, Systems and Integration will report to Tony Tench, who remains Deputy Chief Executive.

Bruce Moore, Chief Executive, said “Appointing Andrew Shaw as Chief Financial Officer will help to ensure we have a strong corporate financial framework upon which we can continue to grow, providing quality homes and services for older people who need them most.

“The new, more operationally-focused Executive structure will allow us to be even more responsive to the needs of our residents, strengthening our corporate services to more closely align with operational needs.”
