How can housing providers better support people living with dementia? An upcoming webinar will bring together experts to explore innovation, best practice and how housing can respond to the challenges of dementia.
Taking place on Tuesday 20 October, Dementia Across the Four Nations – Showcasing Innovation, Best Practice and Housing Readiness Across the UK is part of the Dementia and Housing Working Groups: Rising to the Dementia Challenge series.
Hosted by Housing LIN as part of its HAPPI Hour series, the event will explore work taking place across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, highlighting approaches, learning and examples of good practice that can help shape more dementia-inclusive housing.
The session will be jointly chaired by Head of Research and Influence, Vanessa Pritchard-Wilkes and Jeremy Porteus, Chief Executive of Housing LIN, bringing together perspectives from across the sector to consider how housing providers can better prepare for the needs of people living with dementia.
The webinar aims to encourage collaboration and support the development of housing that helps people living with dementia to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
