A team of employees from Housing 21’s London management team is supporting the organisation’s new Make A Difference Everyday campaign by embarking on a charity skydive.
On September 16, nine colleagues representing Extra Care will leap 10,000 feet from a plane in a bid to raise £5,000, to be shared equally between Cancer Research UK and Mental Health Matters.
The fundraiser coincides with the new Make A Difference Everyday (MADE) campaign, which highlights how Housing 21 and its people continually go above and beyond when representing the organisation.
Ashleigh Jarvis, Head of Extra Care London and Kent, said: “As a team, we show up to work each day to make a positive difference to the lives of people living with Housing 21, and to each other as colleagues and friends. But this jump will provide an opportunity to make an even bigger difference, by raising funds to support two amazing charities.
“So many people are either directly or indirectly affected by cancer and mental health is something we all feel passionate about shining a spotlight on and encouraging people to be brave in speaking out. We want this jump to show that courage, whether in the sky or on the ground, can make a real difference to everyone.”
In September, Ashleigh will be joined by Michelle Byrd (Deputy Head of London), along with the entire regional team: Munya Matiashe, Giselle Bailey, Antoinette Minnaar, Emma Gouldburn, Sharon Bristol, Pawel Zawadzki and Emma Jones (Business Partner) partner, when the plane takes to the sky from the North London Skydiving Centre in Cambridgeshire.

Housing 21’s Make a Difference Everyday (#MadeByUs) campaign was launched to shine a spotlight on the impact individuals, employees and the organisation have on helping others.
