Housing 21 has achieved a C1 consumer standards grading from the Regulator of Social Housing.

The C1 grading confirms the Regulator is assured that Housing 21 is able to demonstrate it is achieving the outcomes required for all four consumer standards (Safety and Quality; Neighbourhood and Community; Tenancy and Transparency, Influence and Accountability). Housing 21 also maintains the highest standards of G1 and V1 for governance and financial viability respectively.

Elaine Elkington, Chair of the Board at Housing 21 commented: “We are pleased Housing 21 has now been awarded a C1 grade. Achieving C1 status reflects the hard work and commitment of employees from across the organisation, who work together to ensure residents receive the high standards they rightly deserve and expect.

"Housing 21 has worked with the Regulator to strengthen a number of processes, including the introduction of an improved reporting framework, how performance information is shared with residents and how feedback is used to drive service improvements.

Bruce Moore, Chief Executive commented: “Resident satisfaction has always been at the heart of everything we do and our consistently high resident satisfaction scores, together with C1 status, helps to demonstrate we are committed to always doing the right thing.

"We will continue to listen to feedback, to adapt, improve and strengthen our services, and ensure that older people can live well in our properties, with dignity and autonomy.”
