Carroll Gardens

Carroll Gardens is an attractive scheme, located on the banks of the River Trent in a popular area just eight minutes’ bus ride away from the centre of Nottingham.

Although the court is in a lively and popular area on the Victoria Embankment, it is quiet enough for residents to be able to relax and enjoy the views and the peaceful atmosphere. There is plenty for residents to do in the area, with community gardens, cafés, a leisure centre and bowls club near the Meadows.

Carroll Gardens has a range of on-site facilities including a communal lounge, dining room, two guest rooms for friends and family to stay, laundry, hairdresser, beauty therapist and lifts.

The court has extensive, well-maintained gardens. There is also a pleasant seating area with a barbecue where residents can get together in the summer. Residents are welcome to get involved with the gardening or choose a patch to maintain themselves if they wish. The gardens are close to the river bank and attract a wide variety of birds and squirrels.

Nottingham is a vibrant city and hosts the popular annual Med-fest where the community comes together to showcase local activities.

In the Meadows nearby, there is a shopping precinct with a variety of shops and a health centre which houses several doctors surgeries. 

The court is close to frequent tram and bus services and ten minutes away from Nottingham’s mainline train station, which provides connections to the whole of the rail network. There is also a dial-a-ride service which many residents use and the court is well-served by local taxi firms.
