Nearby to the centre of the town of Clitheroe in Lancashire, you will find Corbridge Court. While enjoying a semi-rural location, the court is only a short walk from the town and a wide range of local amenities. You can enjoy extensive views of fields from the court, and many local public footpaths, including the famous Ribble Way, pass very close by.

There is always something to do in Clitheroe, with a variety of regular markets and annual events. The town centre has a range of independent shops, several supermarkets, a theatre, post office, traditional department store and other facilities. There are several pubs and restaurants within walking distance and places of worship. Residents have the choice of two doctors surgeries located in the health centre.

Buses run every 10 to 15 minutes from the bus interchange just 100 yards from the court and provide connections to a wide variety of destinations from Preston to Burnley. There is a dial-a-ride service and several local taxi companies offering reasonable rates for local travel. The railway station is a short stroll from the court and runs an hourly service throughout the region as well as special steam powered trains in the summer months.

Corbridge Court has a range of on-site facilities including a communal lounge, laundry, guest room and residents’ car park.

The court is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and attracts a variety of wildlife including bats, otters, curlews and roe deer. Lawns and mature shrubs surround the court and most residents tend their own pots and hanging baskets. The court has recently been awarded a lottery grant to install raised flower and vegetable beds for residents to use.
