Within a few minutes’ walk of the court, you will find a doctor’s surgery, dentist, pharmacy and community centre with a member’s bar. We also have a Morrison's supermarket and a gym across the road. Eric Long is a pet friendly Court and benefits from a large vets opposite the building.
A short drive away is Coate Water, a large park/nature reserve offering lovely walks and facilities or Greenbridge retail park, offering shops and a multi-screen Cinema.
The bus stop nearby will take you into the town centre within 15 minutes, where you will find a range of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and an excellent public library.
The court has a lift to the first floor and a spacious communal lounge with a fully fitted kitchen.
Communal gardens are kept beautifully, tended by our long-term gardener and several green fingered residents who tend to their own patch. The grounds are a haven for wildlife with foxes and many birds visiting. For those that wish to get involved we have regular activities, such as bingo, hoy, quizzes and other social get togethers.
In essence Eric Long Court offers comfortable, friendly, and quiet environment for those people who are near to or have retired.
