Granville Court has an active social scene, with frequent coffee mornings in the TV lounge, bingo and quiz afternoons. A group of singers called Singing Memories are regular visitors to the court, and their afternoons are well-attended and enjoyed by the residents. In warmer weather, the court also organises garden parties and afternoon teas, as well as occasional coffee mornings in the garden.
There is always something going on in the nearby town of New Brighton, which has a multiplex cinema and the popular Floral Pavilion theatre, as well as a range of traditional sea-front attractions.
