Lawrance Court

Lawrance Court is a friendly scheme situated in a quiet area of Southill on the outskirts of Weymouth, near the popular Dorset coast. Southill has a good range of local shops which are all within walking distance of the court, including a supermarket, mobility shop, fish and chip shop, takeaway and hairdresser. A church at the end of the road runs a weekly lunch club.

The popular seaside resort has many shops, cafés and restaurants. It boasts a Georgian seafront, sandy beaches and views across the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Local taxis offer special rates from the court to the town centre and a local supermarket runs a free bus service twice a week. 

Lawrance Court has a range of on-site facilities, including a communal kitchen, guest room, laundry and Car park. The welcoming lounge is well used during the day by residents who want to sit and chat or catch up on their favourite TV programmes. The court is surrounded by attractive gardens. Green-fingered residents are encouraged to look after the flowerpots if they choose, ensuring the court enjoys colour all year round. The area is rural and can be hilly, so potential residents should be aware that it is not suitable for scooters.
