Marigold Court

Marigold Court offers a quiet, comfortable living environment with a range of amenities and care facilities on-site, all within easy reach of a large selection of attractions and activities in Gateshead and Newcastle.

There is an on-site restaurant, hair salon, shop, small library, activities room and reminiscence room. Assisted bathing facilities are also available. On the first floor there is an attractive communal lounge, and a guest room with a fully equipped kitchen. There is an emergency call system in place.

The court is opposite Gateshead International Stadium and Sports College and close to the town centre and Newcastle city centre. These offer a wealth of attractions, including museums, art galleries, cinemas, theatres, music venues, bars and restaurants. Shoppers can visit the Eldon Square and Metro Centre retail developments. Buses run frequently and there are stops just outside the court gates.

Marigold Court itself has extensive landscaped gardens, including a sensory garden, with patios and seating areas. The court has a ‘Tubs ‘n’ Shrubs’ group to keep the patio areas in bloom.

Next to Marigold Court are the St James Bungalows, also offered by Housing 21, and looked after by the Court Manager. Tenants have the same access to court facilities and events, and an emergency call system is in place.
