Sarl-Williams Court

Sarl-Williams Court is situated just outside the city walls of Chester, famous for its Roman heritage, wealth of Victorian buildings and the renowned Chester Cathedral.

Near the court, there are a selection of local shops and larger supermarkets, a pub, doctors surgery, dentist, banks, post office, places of worship and numerous cafés. A leisure centre and a cinema are  nearby.

The historic city of Chester is just five minutes’ walk from the court and is a vibrant place with a full programme of events throughout the year. There are plenty of attractions in the city, including the zoo, racecourse, military museum, aquarium and castle.

The court enjoys excellent transport links, being situated along a main bus route with a bus stop just five minutes away. Ellesmere Port, Liverpool and Chester Oaks are all within easy reach by bus and there is also a train station in Chester if you wish to venture further afield. A Plus Bus service and Community Car Scheme in Chester provides convenient travel around the local area.

Sarl-Williams Court has three child-friendly communal gardens where everyone is welcome to get involved in taking care of the planting areas. The grounds are social spaces with well-attended barbecues held in the patio garden in the summer. A range of local wildlife pays regular visits to the grounds, with blue tits seen most frequently.

The court also has a small Car park for residents to use, communal lounge, guestroom and laundry.
