The town centre is just a five-minute drive or bus ride away and there is also a good range of local amenities within walking distance of the court. Independent shops and a church are located opposite and there is a newsagent, pub, hairdresser, post office and two pleasant parks just a five-minute walk away. There are several large supermarkets, just a short drive from the court.
The court has extensive and attractive landscaped gardens which attract a variety of wildlife including frogs, squirrels, bats and crows. There is an allotment area which residents are welcome to tend if they choose. There is also a pleasant patio where residents can relax and enjoy the warmer weather.

Stanbridge House is a modern development with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The Court has an active residents social committee and there are many organised events for people to enjoy in the bright and airy communal lounge. As well as regular coffee mornings and tea afternoons, residents can join in with bingo and various other games. In addition to the indoor social life the Court has beautiful landscaped communal gardens which provide an ideal setting for relaxation and social activity during the warmer months.
Buses runs regularly into town from a stop just two minutes’ walk from the court, or residents can choose to use the local dial-a-ride service. The nearest train station is in Banbury, a short walk or drive away.
