Absalom Court

Absalom Court enjoys an attractive location in the peaceful village of Twydall in Gillingham. The court is surrounded by landscaped gardens and a quiet woodland area.

Nearby attractions include the historic Chatham Dockyards, the Royal Engineers Museum, Leeds Castle and Rochester Cathedral. The area boasts a range of events such as the Christmas markets, concerts in the castle grounds, festivals and carnivals.

The nearby towns of Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester and Maidstone are a bus ride or drive away and offer a larger range of supermarkets, shops, banks and leisure facilities. The Rainham Mark and Hempstead Valley shopping centres are both a short bus ride away.

Buses run regularly from a stop near the court and will take you into Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester, Maidstone and the Hempstead Valley shopping centre. Residents can choose to use the local volunteer driver service or taxi companies to get around and there are also a number of train stations in the area.

Absalom Court has a range of on-site facilities including a communal lounge with kitchen, laundry, hair salon, wet room, guest room, communal gardens, lift and Car park.

Absalom Court

The court is proud of its extensive landscaped gardens, which are wheelchair-accessible and child-friendly. There are numerous pots, hanging baskets and raised beds which residents are welcome to tend if they choose. The gardens have a peaceful woodland area where some residents like to sit and read or watch the foxes, squirrels, hedgehogs and woodpeckers which visit.
