Our new Extra Care scheme, Albion Gardens in Stalham, will offer independent living with on-site care for people over the age of 55. Our one and two-bedroom apartments will be available for social rent to residents over the age of 55.

The scheme has been designed to provide fully accessible facilities for residents and members of the public, such as a café/ bistro and hair salon. There is also a spacious residents’ lounge, buggy store and communal gardens for residents. The scheme will be located on land north of Yarmouth Road and is a short walk to the amenities in the centre of Stalham.

Applying for a home at Albion Gardens

Albion Gardens is an Extra Care Living scheme for people aged 55 and over who would benefit from care and support to live independently. Norfolk County Council holds 100% nomination rights for all apartments, meaning all homes are allocated through the local authority's nominations process.

To be considered for a home, applicants will need:

An assessment of their care and support needs from Norfolk County Council.
Registration on the local housing register: https://www.yourchoiceyourhome.org.uk

Priority will generally be given to applicants with a local connection to the district.
