The area has excellent rail links, with Keynsham and a Bristol Temple Meads stations offering services to towns and cities across the country. Bristol city centre, Keynsham and the historic city of Bath are all easily reached by car.
Bluebell Gardens has three attractive gardens with easy wheelchair access into the courtyard. Many of the residents enjoy gardening and have achieved a relaxing, attractive area with colourful planting and hanging baskets, while bird tables and feeders in the grounds attract a wide variety of wildlife.
Housing 21 Extra Care Survey
In 2025-26, Housing 21 commissioned Acuity to carry out a Care Satisfaction Survey with residents who receive a care component in an Extra Care scheme.
The purpose of the survey is to provide quality data to help improve the service provision. We undertook a census approach of Extra Care residents who could complete the survey online by scanning a QR code. Alternatively, they had the option to complete the paper version and return the survey themselves or get help from someone else.

Life at Bluebell Gardens
Bluebell Gardens is a friendly and active court with a range of activities for residents to take part in. The residents’ committee organises many activities and events including invitations to local concerts and fetes.
There are regular quizzes, singalongs, armchair keep fit sessions and guest speakers as well as a monthly church session in the lounge.
The local church offers activities on a daily basis including short mat bowls and a pop in session, while LinkAge hold a monthly quiz that attracts members of the local community.
