Cohen Court, in the pleasant Glebe area of Stockton, is a lively and social development which recently won Housing 21’s Live Active Award.

The Glebe is a much sought-after area of the town and is peaceful and quiet yet enjoys a good range of local amenities. 

Stockton town centre is three miles away and hosts a varied calendar of events including a weekly market, fireworks displays and festivals. The town has a wider range of shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants and leisure facilities.

The court is well connected with the local area having excellent transport links. A frequent bus service runs every day into Stockton and Middlesbrough from a bus stop just two minutes’ walk from the court. There is also a reliable taxi service which many residents use to take them into town, shopping or to visit friends and there is a train station a short drive away.

Cohen Court is proud of its attractive and well-maintained gardens which surround the development, with pots filled with flowers and climbing plants. In the summer residents like to sit outside and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine together on the balcony or pleasant seating area.

Life at Cohen Court

This lively and social court has a residents' association which takes an active role in arranging social events; these include fish and chip lunches, coffee mornings, buffets, Sunday lunches, knit and natter and games sessions, all taking place in the spacious attractive commuinal lounge. The well maintained gardens provide an alternative place for relaxation in fine weather and those with green fingers are encouraged to get involved with the gardening if they choose.
