Duke Bernard Court is a large and friendly scheme in the popular seaside town of Eastbourne in East Sussex. The court is close to a range of traditional attractions including a seafront promenade and marina.

The town hosts many events throughout the year, with the local bandstand holding concerts throughout the summer and regular fireworks nights. Each August sees Eastbourne host the free Airbourne air show, featuring daily fly-pasts by the Battle of Britain display team, Red Arrows and many more.

Eastbourne is home to several parks, the Royal Navy Club, fishing and angling clubs. A large leisure centre is situated a short distance from the court with several pools and a gym. Other membership fitness clubs are also nearby.

The nearest bus stop is a few minutes’ walk from the court and there are reliable taxi services in the area. Eastbourne’s railway station provides direct links to London Victoria, Hastings and Brighton.

Duke Bernard Court has a range of facilities for residents including a communal lounge, laundry, outside drying facilities and guest room.

The attractive gardens are well-maintained and child-friendly. Green-fingered residents are welcome to get involved in tending the plants and flowers if they choose.
