Ebbage Court

Ebbage Court is a welcoming scheme near to the bustling town of Woking in Surrey. The court is in a residential area, ideally situated for walks in local parks and trips to the South coast, yet just 25 minutes from London Waterloo.

The court is conveniently located just five minutes from the town centre and there are excellent transport links from Heywood into the wider area. The town is popular with families and has a strong sense of community.

Woking holds a thriving local market, food festivals and events such as Party in the Park, the London bike route and concerts all year round.

A bus stop outside the court takes residents to Woking within 10 minutes and to Guildford within 25 minutes. Buses run twice an hour from a stop near the court and travel to the city centre and outlying villages. Woking train station services London and the South Coast. Residents can also book the local ‘bustler’ service or taxi services to get around.

Ebbage Court has a range of onsite facilities for residents including a communal lounge, laundry and a guest room with two single beds and a level access shower. The lounge has an extensive range of books for residents to borrow. Families are welcome to use the dining room and lounge for gatherings.

The court has well-maintained and child-friendly gardens on three sides and has been awarded two Lottery grants to build a sight and sound garden and relaxation area. The court recently won the ‘Woking in Bloom’ competition. There is a large patio area and benches where residents can sit and relax. Some residents enjoy growing their own vegetables. A number of residents have bird feeders attracting various birds into the garden. Local wildlife visitors include foxes, herons and hedgehogs.

Life at Ebbage Court

Ebbage Court has a residents' association and is a friendly scheme with a wide range of social activities for residents to enjoy. These include arts and crafts sessions, chess, darts, bingo, breakfast clubs, speciality nights, church group visits and charity fundraising events. In addition, the Court has attractive, well maintained and award-winning gardens; an ideal place to sit and relax whilst watching the local wildlife and birds in fine weather.
