Grounds Court is a friendly scheme in an established residential area of Boston, offering easy access to a range of local amenities, and good transport links to the wider region. The scheme offers studio and one bedroom apartments, and one three bedroom house.

The main shopping centre is just a mile from the court, and there are several retail parks within a five-mile radius. Boston is a lively and vibrant town with a general market twice a week and weekly street auctions and craft fairs. The town also hosts a popular event each Christmas and the renowned Boston May Fair.

There is plenty for residents to do in the area; Boston boasts a cinema, theatre, parks, pubs, restaurants, bingo halls, leisure centres, nature reserves, social clubs and sports clubs.

Buses run regularly into Boston and the wider area from a stop just a few feet from the court. Residents can also book local taxis or voluntary community transport to get around. Boston has a mainline train station which provides connections to the wider area.

Grounds Court has a range of on-site facilities, including a recently refurbished residents’ lounge with wide-screen TV, computer area, communal kitchen, guest room, lift and ample parking. The court has a pet policy.

The court has extensive child-friendly gardens with flowerbeds, mature trees and a pleasant patio area where residents can sit and enjoy the warmer weather or one of the summer barbecues. Green-fingered residents are welcome to get involved in the gardening if they wish.

Life at Grounds Court

This sociable, welcoming scheme joins forces with another nearby court to offer residents many social activities to enjoy; these include bingo sessions, quizzes and sing-alongs as well as regular coffee mornings, fish and chip suppers, barbecues and tabletop sales; there is also the opportunity to go on off-site day trips.

The court has extensive landscaped gardens which offer an opportunity for outdoor relaxation in fine weather, and those with green fingers are welcome to join in with the gardening if they wish.
