
Normanby Court is set in attractive and peaceful surroundings in a quiet area of Marton near Middlesbrough. Marton is an established and mature residential area, pleasantly located near to the coast and the countryside.
There are numerous shopping and leisure facilities close at hand including larger supermarkets, independent shops, a library, post office, dentist, doctor's surgery, banks, pubs, hotels and churches.
Marton was the birthplace of Captain James Cook and the town is home to a museum commemorating his life. Marton also has a large public park and a leisure centre and cinema are within easy driving distance.
Buses run from Marton into Middlesbrough town centre every half an hour from a bus stop a few minutes’ walk from the court and take 15 minutes. There is also a train station and a reliable and reasonably priced taxi service which will take you into town or to appointments.

The attractive and well-maintained gardens have pleasant seating areas where residents can get together and relax or enjoy the variety of wildlife that regularly visits. Green-fingered residents can get involved with tending their own area of the garden if they choose.
