Roger Arden Court is sheltered retirement housing, situated in its own grounds by the Leeds and Liverpool canal. The court is close to local shops, including a pharmacy and a hairdresser, and is a stone’s throw from a GP’s surgery. The local shopping centre is a ten-minute walk or a short bus trip and hosts many shops, a post office and several banks. The bus also takes you to the bus station and train station, which gives access to most parts of Liverpool, and to Crosby and Southport and further afield. We have two places of worship within a ten-minute walk and we’re a five-minute walk from Derby Park.
Residents are welcome to join in with the many social events in the court's communal lounge and gardens.
The court has four separate gardens, two of which are adjacent to the canal, providing residents with sightings of ducks, badgers and other canalside wildlife.

Life at Roger Arden Court
Roger Arden Court is a lively court during the day, with someone always in the lounge to chat to. There’s the nine o’clock club every evening for anyone to join in and once a month, some of the residents go for a meal out or have a fish and chip supper at the court. A tea and coffee morning is held every Friday, and there’s a hairdresser available in our on-site salon every Wednesday morning.
The court has a call system in place for residents' safety and security, and a full-time Court Manager Monday – Friday, 8am-3pm.
