A new Retirement Living scheme is coming to Hayling Island!

South Hayling Court offers residents independent living, with stylish, modern apartments - combined with spacious communal facilities. Our 39 one- and two-bedroom apartments are available for rent and shared ownership to residents over the age of 55. 

The scheme has been designed to provide fully accessible facilities for both residents and visitors including an onsite manager and a buggy store. Other key facilities, include a spacious residents’ lounge – perfect for greeting family and friends when they visit. Pets are very welcome to move in too! 

Situated just 0.6 miles from Hayling Island Beach, this scheme has many amenities nearby. With a Co-Op, vets, medical practice, and library within walking distance. There is also good transport links, with a range of bus stops just a short walk away which has routes to Eastoke and Havant. The nearest train station, Havant is just over five miles away.  
 
South Hayling Court is a great option for people wanting to move closer to family or live in a beautiful new apartment near the beach.

 

Rental 

There are 27 one- and two-bedroom apartments available to rent. 

All rented properties at South Hayling Court will initially be let through the Local Authority via Hampshire Home Choice. Havant Borough Council has its own letting criteria which includes the need for a local connection to the borough of Havant. We understand there is already considerable demand for this scheme. This scheme includes a mixture of properties available for let through Havant Borough Council and Housing 21, following this first round of initial lets. If you do not believe you will meet the Council’s letting criteria, you can apply through Housing 21’s waiting list, which will be open to applications after 1st May 2025. You can apply for Housing 21’s waiting list by downloading an application form.

 

Shared ownership 

There are 12 two-bedroom apartments available for shared ownership.
