Summer Court is located in Hythe, a small and picturesque Cinque Ports seaside town. It benefits from a local High Street, two GP surgeries, library, post office and dental surgeries. The local high street is a 10 minute walk away from Summer Court, accessible by foot or scooter. There are banks, supermarkets; and a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. A farmers market is held every fortnight in Hythe, and each August the town holds a festival week. For those who like the outdoors, there is a local park with bandstand, and a bowls, cricket and rowing club. There is a small station in Saltwood, which is a 10 minute drive from Hythe; or Folkestone has two train stations.
Set within beautiful gardens, Summer Court has three patio areas with seating and access for walking and wheelchairs around the garden. Residents are welcome to be involved in the garden, and a garden club is run in the spring and summer months. The court itself has a hair salon, gym, internet café, bar, restaurant and on-site kiosk.
