Walton Court stands in its own private grounds with beautiful gardens in a quiet area of Crook in County Durham, offering a peaceful lifestyle with local amenities close by.

Apart from the village shop and the pub, there are also several chemists, a church, library, fish and chip shop, hardware shop and late night convenience store. The town centre also has several pubs. For those wishing to venture slightly further afield, there are several bus stops close to the court, making travel to Bishop Auckland, Durham and other nearby towns easy.

Residents take great pride in the gardens and most participate in tending them. The secluded rear garden area provides a good habitat for squirrels and birds, and the residents like to make sure they are well-fed. Inside, the court has a residents' lounge, laundry, guest room and lift.

A court manager is on site to provide help and support to residents, and further peace of mind is provided by the 24 hour emergency alarms.
