Another Extra Care scheme has been added to Housing 21’s portfolio following the successful transfer of Minterne Apartments in London from Notting Hill Genesis.

on 4 May 2023, Housing 21 completed the acquisition of the brand-new scheme which comprises of 60 apartments located on Fountain Park Way, off Wood Lane, within the vibrant White City area.

This is the eighth scheme to be acquired from Notting Hill Genesis following the successful acquisition of 412 properties earlier this year.

Tony Tench, Deputy Chief Executive at Housing 21, said: “We are delighted to have acquired Minterne Apartments in White City.  This is a fantastic development in a great location and will offer local older people affordable, contemporary housing with access to on-site care.”

“Housing 21 is a leading provider of high-quality housing for older people in England and we are proud to be able to expand our much-needed Extra Care and Retirement Living services across London, through acquisitions such as Minterne Apartments.”

Extra Care schemes allow people to live independently, with support from the on-site Care Team should they require it.

Minterne Apartments offers a café/bistro, a communal lounge, and a well-maintained garden area, amongst other facilities.

Earlier this year, Housing 21 acquired seven other London schemes from Notting Hill Genesis, namely Elgin Close, Mildmays, Penfold Court, Conrad Court, Cheviot Gardens, Mitchison Court and Turnberry Court.
