Mitchison Court is an Extra Care scheme situated in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey.
The scheme enables residents to live independently with access to 24/7 on-site care and support for people over the age of 55. Residents can also choose to make us of the communal lounge to socialise with other residents. There is also a hair salon (by appointment only). There are 39 one- and two-bedroom apartments available for residents.
Living in Extra Care means you continue to live independently in your new home, exactly as you do now, but with the peace of mind that having help on hands brings. You have your own front door and letterbox; can have friends and family to visit (without asking permission) and you can bring your pets with you too. You may currently be living as a couple where only one of you requires care. Choosing to live in one of our Extra Care schemes can enable you to continue living together with support from Care Workers, ensuring you can concentrate on enjoying your time together, unlike in a care home, where you would need to live separately.
Mitchison Court is a two-minute walk from Sunbury railway station and a five-minute walk to a local shopping centre.
