Supporting the wellbeing of our employees so that they can thrive and be their best is central to how we Make A Difference Everyday as an organisation. Through benefits such as Occupational Sick Pay, Maternity/ Paternity Pay and the Simply Health Cash Plan, Housing 21 offers a range of measures to support employee wellbeing.

Outside of these benefits, Nicola Morris, Housing 21’s Wellbeing Partner, talks about the steps that the organisation is support employee wellbeing and why it is important.

Nicola's thoughts:

“Employee wellbeing is about creating an environment where people feel a sense of belonging; are valued and respected for what they do and feel able to have a voice. Positive wellbeing helps people to find purpose in their work so they are able to grow and develop, can achieve a good work life balance and can access support for their health and wellbeing if and when they need to.

“We all have an important role to play, building a culture where supporting employee wellbeing is an ‘everyday’ action and a natural part of how we work. This includes everything from small individual interactions and support within our teams through to broader organisational-wide activity, initiatives and processes.

"How do we/ are we doing this?
