Bowman Court holds a range of social activities for residents to enjoy including regular bingo sessions, lunch clubs, raffles, seasonal parties and day trips. The residents raise a lot of money for charity and support Derian House and Guide Dogs for the Blind, which brings dogs to the court to meet the residents.
Blackburn has a market most days of the week and a selection of larger supermarkets, high street stores and independent shops. You can find banks, churches, dentists and doctors surgeries within easy reach of the court, as well as cafés and restaurants.
