Fosbrooke Court is situated in a quiet residential area close to the popular coastal city of Plymouth.
Fosbrooke Court is just a mile from a shopping parade which boasts many shops, banks, pubs, cafés and restaurants. A short bus ride takes residents into the city centre, where there is an excellent range of larger supermarkets, major retailers and independent shops. There are several places of worship and a social club nearby.
Plymouth city centre has a long seafaring history and hosts many events and festivals on its waterfront including the annual British Firework Championships. The city also has a good range of museums, galleries, theatres, cinemas, music venues and an arts centre. Plymouth holds regular indoor and farmers’ markets.
The local area offers good transport links. The court is a short bus ride from the historic Plymouth Hoe and Barbican, Dartmoor National Park and the market town of Tavistock. Buses into the city centre run every 20 minutes from a stop just opposite the court or there is a dial-a-ride service you can book. Plymouth Railway station is two miles away and provides easy access to towns and cities further afield.

The gardens are well maintained and there are areas for residents to sit and enjoy the views. Green-fingered residents are encouraged to join in with the gardening if they choose. A variety of wild birds and squirrels regularly visit the garden.
This friendly court has its own social committee that organises a range of activities for all to enjoy, these include coffee mornings, evenings playing darts and dominoes and occasional bingo sessions, all of which take place in the spacious communal lounge.
The attractive gardens have seating areas for residents to sit and enjoy the views and watch the visiting wildlife while those with green fingers are encouraged to join in with the gardening.
