Oak House Court
Oak House is a friendly scheme enjoying a peaceful location in the small rural village of Stutton, seven miles from Ipswich and four miles from Manningtree.
Ipswich has a wide range of amenities with supermarkets, high street stores, independent shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants and leisure facilities including cinemas, theatres and sports clubs.
Alton Water is close by, which is a popular nature reserve and water sports centre. Jimmy’s Farm is a nearby family attraction with farm animals, a shop, restaurant and a variety of regular events.
There is a bus stop just a short walk from Oak House where residents can catch the bus into town or the local ‘buzz-about’ service which calls at the villages nearby. Manningtree has a train station providing connections to the wider region.
Oak House has a range of on-site facilities including residents’ lounges, a day centre, laundry, respite flat, guest room and car park.
Housing 21 Extra Care Survey
In 2025-26, Housing 21 commissioned Acuity to carry out a Care Satisfaction Survey with residents who receive a care component in an Extra Care scheme.
The purpose of the survey is to provide quality data to help improve the service provision. We undertook a census approach of Extra Care residents who could complete the survey online by scanning a QR code. Alternatively, they had the option to complete the paper version and return the survey themselves or get help from someone else.
