Raleigh Court

Raleigh Court is a small and friendly development, located just outside Doncaster and within easy walking distance of a range of local shops.

There is plenty for residents to do in the town, with a general market three days a week and a good selection of pubs, restaurants, gyms, golf courses, a cinema and theatre. There are also a number of social clubs and cafés close to the court.

Popular attractions nearby include the famous Doncaster Racecourse, Conisbrough Castle, Cusworth Hall, the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Brodsworth Hall and the Dome leisure centre, where you can go skating, swimming or bowling.

Local amenities are just a short walk from the court and include a post office, doctors surgery, chemist, bank and places of worship, while several large supermarkets are slightly further away in the town centre.

Buses run every 10 minutes into Doncaster from a stop five minutes’ walk away, or residents can choose to use one of the local taxi services to get around. Doncaster has a railway station providing connections to the surrounding towns and cities and further afield.

Raleigh Court consists of bungalows with a number of parking spaces for residents and their visitors. There is no court manager on site.

The court has communal gardens which residents are welcome to help maintain if they choose. The gardens are a social space with some residents holding informal get-togethers outside in the summer.
