Buses run every 20 minutes from a stop close to the court and will take you into Doncaster or the nearby villages. A mainline train station is just half a mile from the court and provides connections to the wider rail network. Many residents choose to use the community bus and there is also a local taxi offering disabled access transport.

The court has extensive and attractive gardens with a summerhouse, activity shed, greenhouse and plenty of pleasant seating areas where residents can relax and enjoy the warmer weather. Residents are welcome to join in with the gardening if they wish. The gardens have nesting boxes, and local schoolchildren visit the gardens to observe the wildlife as part of their curriculum.
Rokeby Gardens is a vibrant and lively court; there are many organised social events to enjoy in the modern and attractive communal areas. In addition to regular coffee mornings and afternoon teas, residents can join in with darts and bingo on games afternoons and get involved in craft club sessions.
