At Housing 21, we understand how important employees are to ensuring continuity of service for residents. We also recognise the significant role you play in enhancing their experience. That's why we are committed to involving employees in the acquisition process and, whenever possible, bringing them into Housing 21.

As we begin the acquisition process, your employer will inform you about the intention to explore opportunities for transferring the properties, residents, and employees to Housing 21. This will be done in accordance with the consultation period required by TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment)) legislation.

During this time, we will visit you in person, along with your current employer, to introduce ourselves and discuss in more detail what joining Housing 21 might look like. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any questions, which we’ll answer during the meeting or follow up on if more information is needed.

If the transfer moves forward, your existing terms and conditions will be fully protected under TUPE. We will also support you throughout the process by offering a comprehensive training and induction program, which will begin before you officially join us. This way, by the time transfer day arrives, you will already be familiar with the necessary systems and equipped with the tools you need to thrive at Housing 21.

Our support doesn’t end there. For the first 12 months following the transfer, local and regional managers will provide ongoing, tailored support through regular visits to help you settle into your new role.
