Benefits advice

Depending on your circumstances, you may be entitled to certain benefits and allowances.

Ensure you are receiving your full benefit entitlements by:

  • visiting the benefit information centre at your court
  • speaking to one of our financial well-being managers who provide financial checks and benefit advice
  • talking to your court managers who are trained to give benefit advice

For more information download our welfare benefits leaflet.

For a detailed questionnaire to help you or your family with a wider range of benefits and tax credits visit Directgov.

Our leaflet 'Benefit changes, are you ready?’ has more information on the changes the government introduced to the benefit system in April 2013 as part of the Welfare Reform Act.
