All conferences will start at 10am and will be finished by 3.30pm.

Refreshments such as tea, coffee, water and snacks will be provided throughout the conference and in the breaks. Lunch will also be provided.

This isn't a problem, you're under no obligation to attend following signing up. However, we would appreciate it if you could inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to come, so we can fill the place with another applicant.

All our venues have been chosen with accessibility in mind, so moving around the venue should be relatively straight forward. If you have any difficulties, please let us know.

Housing 21 will cover all reasonable travel costs, either by 2nd class train, coach or car, plus taxi fares to and from stations. We will not reimburse refreshment costs such as refreshments whilst travelling. In some cases, your Local Housing Manager will be arranging transport by taxi or minibus if there are enough people wishing to attend from one scheme. Delegates who prefer to travel by car should try to share transport where possible, to minimise costs.

An expense form will be provided at the conference and should be returned with relevant receipts to the Retirement Living Team or via the address provided.

The conference is a chance to talk, listen and exchange ideas. Please come along prepared to give your feedback on a variety of relevant topics, and with any general questions you may wish to ask.

All successful applicants will be contacted with the plans for the day including an agenda closer to the time.

Looking back at our Resident Conferences in 2025

In May 2025, we welcomed nearly 500 residents to events in Southampton, Nottingham, Ashford in Kent, Leeds and Birmingham. These conferences were all about bringing people together to share updates, ideas, and inspiration for the future of Housing 21.
