Jim, aged 92, was one of the first residents to move into his Extra Care scheme in Bradford. He has lived in Bradford for over 60 years, previously living in Barbados.
Jim was a bus driver for over 20 years, and his younger brother, Eric joined him in England four years after he arrived himself.
Eric, aged 85, is a retired social worker and an engineer, they both now live in Extra Care with Housing 21.
The siblings prefer Bradford to other parts of the country and have settled well within the wider community as well as their own community within the scheme.
“There is always lots going on.” said Jim.
