Brown Court is a friendly, neighbourly scheme situated in a quiet area of Pemberton, close to local shops and two miles from Wigan town centre.
Pemberton is a popular part of Wigan, with an attractive park a short walk from the court and a good range of shops nearby.
The area has good transport links. Regular buses go to Wigan, St Helens and Skelmersdale from a stop at the end of the street and Pemberton train station is a short walk away. Brown Court is close to Wigan North Western train station, where you can catch direct trains to London and Scotland. There are a number of reliable taxi companies in Pemberton or you can use the local dial-a-ride service.
Brown Court has a range of onsite facilities including a communal lounge and kitchen, laundry, lift and ample parking.
The court has large and attractive gardens with pleasant seating areas where residents can relax and enjoy the warmer weather. Green-fingered residents are welcome to get involved with looking after the gardens if they choose.

Large, attractive, lawned gardens provide an opportunity for outdoor socialising in warm weather and also for a spot of gardening for those with green fingers.
There are several pubs, doctors surgeries and supermarkets in the area and Robin Park, just two miles away, has a cinema, a range of major stores and a variety of restaurants.
