Grosvenor Court is sheltered retirement housing, consisting of 34 one-bedroom properties set in their own grounds a couple of miles from Wigan.
The flats are available for either one person or two persons; however, we do not have two-bedroom flats available at present.
Residents are welcome to join in the social events in the communal areas of the court, but the residential areas offer privacy and seclusion for those who prefer it.
A call system is in place for residents’ safety and security, and a full time court manager is on duty from Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm.
The court is currently undergoing a full programme of refurbishment.

Grosvenor is a lively court during the day, there is always someone in the lounge to chat to. We have twice-weekly bingo sessions, indoor bowling and chair-based yoga with a qualified instructor.
There are also regular social get-togethers with singers, and buffets. The money for these is raised through Bingo, table-top sales and sales of tea and coffee.
The court is a few minutes’ walk from local shops, GPs, dentists, a pharmacy and a large supermarket. Buses run frequently from just outside the court to Wigan, St Helens, Southport and Skelmersdale.
