Duke of Beaufort Court is just a few miles from Gloucester city centre yet overlooks open fields, combining a semi-rural feel with easy access to local facilities.

Gloucester is a vibrant city with lots to do. There is a weekly farmers’ market and the city’s calendar of events includes the Three Choirs Festival, Beer Festival, Tall Ships Festival and the Dragon Race. Local villages host their own events including the Newent Onion Fayre and Tewkesbury’s Mop Fair.

The city has a wide range of high street stores and independent shops, bars, cafés, restaurants and leisure facilities. Gloucester Cathedral attracts thousands of visitors each year and is a popular film location. Nearby sporting facilities include Gloucester golf club, a dry ski slope, athletics track and leisure centre.

Gloucester is an ideal location to explore the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean, offering spectacular views and local attractions such as the Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.

Buses run every 10 minutes into town from a stop close to the court and the train station is two miles away. There are many taxi companies and a community-run minibus which residents can use to go shopping.

Duke of Bedford Court has a large residents’ lounge with a full-size snooker table, communal laundry, guest room and private Car park.

The court has extensive grounds and many residents get involved with keeping them looking their best. There is also a communal gardening project attached to the Duke of Beaufort Hub where residents can choose to hire a raised bed and plant a variety of crops.

Life at Duke Of Beaufort Court
