Edward Arnold Court is situated in a quiet residential area of Kempston in Bedfordshire, just a short bus trip away from the county town of Bedford, with its many shops and attractive embankment beside the River Ouse.

On Thursday and Sunday mornings there is a small local market in Kempston, with a large market every Wednesday and Saturday in Bedford, which also hosts a regular crafts market and a very popular Victorian market in December.

There are three local parks close to the court and Kempston Indoor Swimming Pool and Indoor Bowls Club is 10 minutes walk away. A mobile library visits every month, and the local pharmacy offers a weekly delivery service for prescriptions.

The court, which has 61 flats with a court manager in residence, has a 24-hour emergency call system and door entry system for security. There is a pleasant, modernised communal lounge used for a range of social activities, a guest room and two laundries. The gardens are well-tended and attractive, with a number of theme areas. Residents can get involved through the court's gardening club. There is plenty of parking on site.
