Middleton Court is located in the popular seaside town of Bridlington, 18 miles south of Scarborough on the east coast.

The court is situated in the smart Marton Road area of Bridlington, a short distance from the historic old town, where nearby attractions include the Priory church and museum.

There is always something going on in Bridlington including dance festivals, vintage car fairs, car boot sales, fetes, markets and candle-lit parades and carols at Christmas.

Bridlington has a variety of larger supermarkets, a post office, hairdresser, chemist, library and an award-winning fish and chip shop. The town has a range of places to eat and drink, from cafés to fine dining, as well as many pubs, social clubs, amusement arcades and leisure activities.

Nearby attractions include the Bempton Cliffs bird sanctuary, the Spotlight amateur dramatic theatre, the recently refurbished Victorian Spa Theatre and the Yorkshire Wolds. Bridlington is surrounded by many pretty villages which all offer their own attractions and events.

Local buses run into town every 20 minutes from a stop right outside the court. There are regular buses along the coast to Skipsea, Hornsea and Withersea, or to nearby Driffield, Beverley and Hull to the south. Further services run to Hummanby, Reaton, Primrose Valley, Filey, Cayton Bay, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby to the north. Bridlington has a train station which operates regular services to Hull.

Middleton Court has a large lounge which has been recently refurbished and there is also a guest room, laundry, lift and Car park.

The court’s gardens are well-maintained and have several pleasant seating areas where residents can relax and enjoy the warmer weather. Residents are welcome to get involved with taking care of their own areas of the gardens if they choose.

Life at Middleton Court

Middleton Court is a welcoming development with an informal social committee. There is a range of social activities for residents to enjoy in the bright communal lounge, these include bingo, tea afternoons, quiz nights, indoor curling and occasional visiting entertainment. The well maintained gardens have pleasant seating areas and are an ideal place for outdoor relaxation in fine weather.
