Buses run every hour from a stop just outside the court to New Milton, Lymington and Bournemouth. The train station at New Milton provides regular links to Weymouth, Southampton and London. The court benefits from two local taxi companies and a voluntary hospital car service.
Pearce Smith Court has a range of on-site facilities for residents including a communal lounge, laundry, guest room with en suite and communal kitchen. The lounge has an extensive range of books for residents to borrow. Pets may be allowed at the manager’s discretion.
The scheme has well-maintained and attractive gardens, with a courtyard that is full of plants, flowers and several pleasant seating areas for residents to enjoy.
Many residents join in with the gardening and have created beautiful planters and hanging baskets on the inner balconies. A variety of wildlife visits the gardens, including hedgehogs and foxes.
