Extra Care
Extra Care enables residents to live independently in their own contemporary apartment, with the reassurance of on-site care and support facilities. This extra support has been specifically designed to help people with care needs so that they can remain in their own home for as long as possible. Find out more about Extra Care here.
Applying for a home at Saltern View
Saltern View is an Extra Care scheme for people aged 55 and over. It will give people their own home with their own front door, with the benefit of on-site care and support to support people to keep living independently in the community.
To be considered for a home, applicants will need an up to date assessment of their care and support needs from Norfolk County Council. Priority will generally be given to local residents or residents who have a connection to the local area.
We encourage anyone interested in living at Saltern View to register their interest with Housing21. At an appropriate time, you will then have a conversation with Norfolk County Council about the assessment process.
