Summerfield Court
Summerfield Court is a friendly development in a rural area just outside the lively market town of Stone in Staffordshire. The court is just half a mile from the centre of town and is close to a range of amenities for residents to enjoy.
Buses go into Stone every hour from a stop just across the road, or residents can choose to use the village bus which picks up at the door of the court. Stone has a train station which provides connections to the wider area.
Stone is known as the food and drink capital of Staffordshire and has a monthly farmers’ market and a variety of popular beer and food festivals. The town has a good selection of supermarkets, high street retailers, independent shops, pubs, cafés, doctors surgeries, dentists, banks and churches.
Housing 21 Extra Care Survey
In 2025-26, Housing 21 commissioned Acuity to carry out a Care Satisfaction Survey with residents who receive a care component in an Extra Care scheme.
The purpose of the survey is to provide quality data to help improve the service provision. We undertook a census approach of Extra Care residents who could complete the survey online by scanning a QR code. Alternatively, they had the option to complete the paper version and return the survey themselves or get help from someone else.

The court has attractive communal gardens and residents are welcome to get involved with the gardening if they choose. Several of the more green-fingered residents have started a gardening club at the court. Barbecues are held in the gardens in the summer months.
